IT support for family offices in Singapore
Huddle runs the IT function for Singapore family offices — the tenant, principal and family devices, and multi-entity access — under one contract, for one fixed monthly fee, with written confidentiality terms and a four-hour response time.
Who this is for
Single and multi-family offices where discretion matters as much as uptime, and where a principal's personal exposure — a device, an account, a family member — is as much a risk as anything in the office. Typically running several entities under one structure, with staff who are not IT people managing IT anyway.
The usual trigger is a near miss: a principal's personal account targeted, a leaver whose access to a sensitive entity was never revoked, or simply the realisation that nobody could say with confidence who can reach what. If any of that sounds familiar, that is the gap this fills.
What is included
Everything below is covered by the base engagement, for every user across your entities. There are no tiers to compare and no bundles to decode.
Confidential by design
Named engineers only, under written confidentiality terms. No support ticket, screenshot or call note leaves the engagement without your sign-off.
Principal and family devices
The same discipline applied to a principal's personal laptop and phone as to the office network — patched, encrypted, and backed up without asking them to think about it.
Multi-entity structures
Family offices, holding companies and personal accounts kept on separate, properly segregated access — so one entity's breach cannot become every entity's problem.
Microsoft 365 tenant
Licence assignment, security defaults, conditional access, sharing policies and mail flow, administered to the same standard as a regulated firm.
Joiners, movers and leavers
Accounts created before a new hire's first morning, access changed the day a role changes, and revoked the day somebody leaves — with a record of it.
Out-of-hours availability
A principal travelling or reachable at odd hours is not an edge case here. Escalation paths are agreed up front, not improvised when something breaks at 11pm.
What it costs
From SGD 1,500 per month as a base fee, plus a per-user rate. Both are fixed, both are quoted in writing before you sign, and neither changes because you had a busy month. No callout fees. No per-ticket charges. No line items that appear later.
How an engagement starts
- 01
Twenty-minute call
What you run, who needs access to what, how many people and devices. No audit fee, no obligation.
- 02
Written quote in 48 hours
A fixed base fee, a per-user rate, and exactly what is in scope, under written confidentiality terms. On paper before you commit.
- 03
Handover
We document the environment, take ownership of the admin accounts, and inventory the devices — discreetly. Usually one to two weeks.
- 04
Live
One desk to contact, a named engineer, and a four-hour response time written into the engagement.
Common questions
How do you handle confidentiality? Our principals' privacy is not negotiable.
Named engineers work your account under written confidentiality terms. Nothing about your systems, holdings or family members is discussed, documented or stored beyond what the engagement requires.
Do you support principals' personal devices, or only the office?
Both, if you want it. Family offices typically ask us to cover a principal's personal laptop and phone to the same standard as the office network, since a gap on either side is a gap in the whole structure.
We run several entities under one family office. Can access be kept separate between them?
Yes. Each entity gets its own segregated access and tenant configuration, so a compromise or a leaver in one entity cannot reach another.
What size of family office do you work with?
Roughly fifteen to two hundred people across the office and its entities. Below that, a managed contract is usually more than you need. Above it, you generally want IT staff in-house and we are better used alongside them than instead of them.
What does a four-hour response SLA actually mean, including out of hours?
A person is working on your request within four business hours of it arriving, with escalation paths agreed up front for principals travelling or reachable outside normal hours. It is a term in the engagement letter, not a marketing figure.
